Right on the door at Le Living Room is a Lucky Board (5-minute timer) for an adorable modern furniture — either an armchair or a love seat as the prize changes. The shop is filled with even more adorable furniture and other high-quality kyoot items. And if you are like me, an explorer, the rest of the region is well worth a look. Very scenic and well done. I especially love the pond.

The Changing Room on Ladies Freebies Island has a staggering number of freebies for the ladies. Complete outfits, undies, lingerie, swimwear, shoes, separates, boots, hair, skins, shapes, animations and animation overrides, some furniture, and more. Much of it is from Business-in-a-Box or closed out shops from days gone by, but there are a few gems. It all depends on your taste. Also, you can rez here and try on new things. I picked up a Mercedes-Benz and some stripper poles (tells you about my lifestyle, huh?).
Found some nice Freebies from Fox Labs recently when I was wandering about. See? It pays to explore. Head to the second floor of the shop for this hot tub, an Object Thrower (toss something you put in the HUD at someone), a full-perms sculpty tree-bush prim, a really nice 1-prim multi-pose stand, a 1-prim footbridge, packs of sculpty furniture parts, packs of sculpty fences, and a Sky Writer HUD.
Having spent L$595 on a fabulous shower assembly I figured another buck wouldn't be missed. Looks like good stuff. Check out [nautilina] (SLurl).
Something Blue (SLurl) has an updated prize camp -- 7 minutes for a nice hammock.
The Polly Jean region has some really radical store builds but poking inside some shows that the merchandise gets radical, too. The owner of Blonde clearly has a dream that the mid- to late-1950s America comes back. This free all-prim apron (SLurl) is an example. You'll also find some really retro furniture and beauty salon hair dryers, among other things. Not surprising when you consider the store's exterior resembles a radio of that era, despite a 1980s cassette tape outside.
What a friggin' adorable store this is! Rouge Darcy sells rather unique backpacks (look at the bomb on my back in the pic), cute girly-wear, and neo-goth clothes, among other items. There are freebies (SLurl) under the stairs and a Lucky Chair on the other side of the stairs (10 minute cycle; current prize is a special Christmas outfit).
Everything seems to be reasonably priced and the store is fun to look at ... cleverly designed and built. A real must-see. Actually, the whole region is worth poking around. In fact, here I go now ...
Today was Whim Day. Something persuaded me to go to Atomic Kitty when I heard they had a temporary location (SLurl). Like several other shops they are giving out a gift-a-day with boxes under a tree and it's pretty good stuff. The penguin backpack in the pic is one item and I'm tickled that it works so well on Loco Pocos avies, too. The box you see has a sit anim. Nekos will love the tangled-in-the-lights look. Other prizes include clothes, a great waiting-for-Santa cushion (with milk 'n cookies!), and more.
The puppy is an adorable follower pet that I got from a Lucky Chair at Cartoon Kids (SLurl) when I had a notion to jump on a chair call. He rolls around a lot when you move but he greets those that come near you and says cute things when you pet him. Toys, food, and a bed make adopting one easy, if you can fight the crowd at the chair. Pretty good whims I had today.
I love a nice free box. As you drop into Off Brand Furniture the first thing you'll see is a box sitting at the entrance. Don't panic! They aren't moving out, I think it's just a shipment that they haven't unpacked yet. Grab this box for 0L. It sits two and the top spot has two different poses in it. Very cute!!
How do you relax? I like to do it in a small tub with a few of my closests friends and some watermelons. So imagine my delight to find that Off Brand Furniture also has this melon cooler out as a camp item. Enter the shop and to the left is a sign with the melon cooler on it. Touch it and camp for 10 minutes. Easy.
AND you're not done yet!! Put the shop in your picks, then return 24-48 hours later, touch the tree stump sign and get a pressy!! It's cute tree stump that fits 3 avies, the book is included in the pose, it's so clever. And the texture under the tree stump can be changed to match your landscape. love this!
There's a few more freebie/cheapies in here. Also, the furniture is well made and very reasonably priced. While you're camping take a few minutes to look around, nice things!!

Barnesworth Anubis has always been one of my favorite home builders in SL and now he's giving out gifties!! When you tp into the [ba] barnesworth anubis homes store find the board that says Freebie House Tour (should be just to the right of the tp entrance.) The board contains a notecard with directions and slurls. It's quite easy really. Take a tour of the gorgeous homes and while you are there you'll be offerred gifts from above! fantastic!
Prizes include items like lounge chairs, topiary bushes, oooh! a nice cream colored cushion (like a floor sofa for two), chaise lounge (my fave) and a tub with floating animation (my second fave.)
The 2008 Isle of Lesbos Turkey Leg Hunt is starting a few hours early so come on down! Go to The Isle of Lesbos (Women Only; SLurl) or The Isle of Lesbos Mall (SLurl) and look for TEN Roast Turkey Legs in each sim. We have some great prizes with a Home for the Holiday theme: fine furniture, decorations, art, and many other seasonal items. Remember, though, that like last year's Hunt you'll need to find just the right leg first, click it, and say a Secret Phrase. That leg will lead you to the next.

Bare Rose has a unique "furniture" set called I'm Home (SLurl). It is actually an outfit of clothing in several colors, too. The idea is that you lay down prims in the set to look like you've shed your clothes and then tiredly laid down. A cute B&W tank bra and several sets of undies are in the package, too, unless you want to lay butt-nekkid (Censored not included).
No, it is not free, but I think it is well worth the $140 I spent. And at 19 prims to display the whole set it might not be for everyone. Very, very clever.
A new outfit for Halloween, the Pumpkin Elf, is in the Freebies section of Bare Rose (SLurl). I don't see why it can't be worn by women, too. It is very festive.

A fast, 2-minute cycle chair is at Look Inside Home Design (SLurl) with some sort of lounge chair as the usual prize. Nice stuff in this store. Very contemporary. That seems to be the overall design philosophy in the Paris New York sim. A wonderful re-creation of the Eiffel Tower is here (SLurl). One of the best I've seen in Second Life. I'll have to bring my wife sometime and do some kissing. Worth a look even if you don't want the freebies. I spoke with the owner, AnnMarie McCellan, and she is very nice. She and her husband, Maximilian Legend, built the infrastructure.
A long, 20-minute cycle chair is at Purple Rose Jewelry & Fashion (SLurl) with a cameo as the usual prize. I think this is the store with the earrings that "announce" what they are and where they are from whenever the avie wearing them arrives from teleport.
Pokin' around I found another jewelry store (SLurl) with a Lucky Chair but I didn't investigate Low-Prim High-Style (SLurl) and (SLurl). Free bangles from still another jewelry store, OC Designs (SLurl). Snookreation (SLurl) is a unique store and has a Lucky Chair.
With all these chairs I'm not surprised there is a Lucky Chair vendor near the middle of the sim. Other vendors line the street in mini-shops so be sure to check them out, too.
It's great to be able to pop in, grab a freebie, and then zip off to the next one. Time and time again it is better to stay for a few moments and look around for a bit. This proved true again at Tyototsu Farm (SLurl). I grabbed the freebie "veg picking anims" and then looked in the near by store. I found these ... erm ... furniture pieces? Too cute to pass up for L$10 each. I grabbed the Steak (top right) and the desert (bottom left). How Serenity missed these I'll never know.
And right below these treasure is something I really can't believe she missed! A murderous bear!! Murder, blood, mayhem! Oh! The Bearmanity of it all! Should be nice for Halloween, of course. And isn't there someone you would like to see being dragged off by this evil plushie?
Another reason to stay and look is you might spot other freebies. I answered the call to help with a Lucky Fortunes machine at Sugar Mills (SLurl) and found these freebies just hanging on the wall. Sure, they might have been in a previous notice, but I didn't see it. So looking around is good.
Update (a few hours later): The "Food Furniture" are really Wearables, like the sign says (I thought it was an Oops). You can walk around while wearing them. Each box has a "regular" and an "AFK" version. The main difference is the latter has a flag that I'm guessing says AFK, or something like that, in Japanese.
