XStreet SL Freebies

With brick-n-mortar stores having stuffed the shelves with Christmas merchandise before Halloween was over, I thought that I would have seen more such treats featured on Xstreet SL's freebies page (Web). But a quick look this morning showed only one recent item: Imagine! Creations: Ice-Dancing Snowman (Web). Not that I'm complaining. This is a nice looking, though animated for rotation only, decoration. You can bet I ordered one :)

Otherwise I found but one freebie that interested me today, and that was a nice gown from Madison's Creations (Web). Sometimes during the Holidays I have to put on a dress of some sort and this looks wonderfully wintery.

Neko Dollarbie

Thanks, Midori, for finding this great Dollarbie! Neko hair, skin, eyes, ears, tail, shape, and collar at Kalon (SLurl) for L$1! The skin looks pretty 'human' in this pic, said Serenity (and I agree). I would have spent the money just for the fun of it anyway, based on the high-quality picture.

But when you put it on you'll see black/orange lipstick and a spider tatt on the cheek definitely make this a holiday skin. Heavy, smeared eyeshadow and liner complete the anatomically correct skin. The hair and kitty bits are great with orange accents.

What is really, really cool, is that the set is packaged in a Halloween "snow globe" ... cool! Move all the contents to your inventory but leave the ghost texture and particle script inside and you have a great holiday decoration! This alone is worth the money. More, actually!

Then take some time to explore the store. It is gorgeous and the merchandise appears to be top notch. Same goes for the rest of the sim. Most Japanese sims strike me as poorly constructed versions of their game shows (and there are some sims with Japanese game shows). This is at least as nice as the Bare Rose sim called White Wolf.

If you know me, you know I don't shop a lot. Being a Lucky Kitty is mostly social for me. But I got a bit lost in this shop looking at the beautiful hair and clothes, both traditional and fine contemporary. I'm going to send my alt here, for sure (I use her for storing things, but she's Japanese and I dress her up now and then ... storage and paper doll ... LOL). I might even let her camp the Lucky Chair (no, she is not a Kitty).

Fabulous Flowers from Shiny Falls

If you love to landscape, head on down to Shiny Falls for these fabulous flowers. You'll get a set of five ranging in size from Huge to Tiny with full Copy perms so you can fill your land with acres of blooms or multiple locations in SL™. Each bunch is only 10 prims regardless of size but this can add up if you put several on a small lot.

I'll add a few to my land and a few to the Jungle at the Isle of Lesbos, but first I'm headed back to Shiny Falls. A couple months have past since I last bought some things there and a few goodies caught my eye. It is a great place to pick up decorative and fun goodies whether you love to landscape or not.
