Cute Bunnies Tattoo

Garotalinda Resident has a cute little shop called G and inside is a cute little lucky strawberry chair that gives out a cute little bunnies tattoo if the initial of your first name (which we assume is cute, of course) matches what the chair is displaying. That changes every 5 minutes (cute, huh?).

Xciting Bear

The annual dollarbie Xcite Christmas Bear is back, an all new design. Unlike previous years there is no scripting so it is merely decorative. Being No Copy/Trans, though, it makes for an inexpensive gift. I often pick up a half-dozen or so to hand out randomly as well as giving to friends.

I'm nice (not naughty) despite the shop's reputation.

September "Premium" Gift

Poop Hunt?? Eww!

Yeah that's what I thought.. what a weekend for gross hunts but the Poop hunt on the Festivale sim is oh so worth getting your hands a little dirty over! Some great designers like Gritty Kitty, PIG, and Little Bird just to name a few, and most designers have out a number of lovely poo's out for you. (eww) This one is fairly easy with the poo's and TP pretty easy to find, but you have until Friday Sept. 4th to get those poos so make sure you get them all ( you won't be sorry ^^) Also just outside of Little Bird is a info giver that has a list of all of the poos and locations of each so that you can make sure you got all the ones you want. ^^ (More hunt giftie pics available here.)

We Can't Have SLex

Long-time favorite place to shop when you couldn't log into the Second Life™ world or for when you wanted to send a gift, SL Exchange (SLex), is now Xstreet SL. My first thought is the site had to rebrand due to the Linden Labs© trademark policy. But the familiar letters SL are in this name, too. A quick search of the site didn't reveal the reasoning behind the change but did show that SLXTerminal Bigwig is still the avie in charge of the in-world terminals. And the vendor supplies (i.e., the server boxes) still have the older brand. If you search with the new name several products show up besides the vendor supplies. Dresses, for example, a sky box, and some furniture.

Kunglers Gift of the Week

Kunglers (SLurl) has a gift of the week program posted behind the main counter. No need to be a member. Two Wonder Chairs are to the immediate right of the counter. Looks like a nice store overall. Not my kinda fashion, but I don't think I've seen a Soft Butch store in SL™.

Musashi-Do Main Fashion Shop Freeb

I've wondered about Musashi-Do since I found a wonderful freeb from them on SLex about a year ago. According to About Land at their store (SLurl) their theme is "Italian fashion meets the far east. Every style of Men and Women's fashion. Suits, dresses, gowns, clubwear and lingerie."

Turns out it is rather nice. I'm buying things even as I write this post. All I know is that I get hit on a lot when I wear this crop-top outfit and some of the other clothes look like winners, too.

Male and female in two bags on a table in the lobby, but there is an SLex exclusive freeb here. It is a Motorsports Race Queen outfit much like one they sell at the store and it is transferable. Makes a nice gift.

Bouncy Bosoms

I'll try to update this with pix, but right now I'm too angry.

There is no way I can recommend the Bouncing Bosom Tintable Wife Beater Top by Raven Ivanova (available on SLex, her store, or discussed here).

Cripes. I wish I had seen the review on SLex before buying this product in the store. The way that this even remotely works is a black shirt with black prims. Otherwise you have a tinted shirt with texture and tinted prims with no texture. The picture on SLex is the same as the one in the store ... completely contrary to what it looks like in-world.

To the maker's credit, they do mention in several places that the product does not work well with Windlight-based viewers. What they should say is that it does not work at all. I tried an older viewer and some colour combos were acceptable but as most folks don't use those viewers (or tweak graphics on the newer viewers per the maker's instructions) there is no point. This product should not be sold as is. Either updated pictures should be show comparing the viewer types or the product needs to be pulled. This was purchased for me as a gift and I felt so bad I gave the generous person thier money back.

I also don't understand why an AO is in the box if the post-purchase information notes that the effect doesn't work with AOs. There is no mention before purchase about this serious problem.

I agree with Aydan Darcy: "Don't waste your money.
