WarBug Freebie

Right. Maybe this airfield windsock and loudspeaker isn't a typical freebie for this group, but if you have one of the cute little WarBug airplanes, it is a game scorekeeper. What? Don't have a wee airplane? Fly one free when you go to pick up the windsock. I can picture a Lucky Kitty Airforce, Serensei in the lead in a strawberry-schemed fighter.

Lesbos Haunted House Freebies

The Isle of Lesbos has a free 5-minute carnival-style Haunted House ride in the mall sim, open to men, women, child avies ... well, anyone not banned. It can be a wee scary and has flashie-lights, but it's all in fun. I'd post more pix, but that would take away some of the surprises. When you arrive (SLurl), click the door shown here then the swirly light to enter.

At the end of the ride you can grab copies of the plushie toys shown here. Just buy for L$0 each. No, you can't buy the piggy. That's my alt in the Prize Avie from the Loco Pocos Halloween game (Web).

It is cool to Reek

After spying a giant Hobbes (the "stuffed" tiger from the comic strip) decorating a Gorean clothes shop I had to run to the manufacturer's shop to get my own. The store is called Reek (SLurl) and it has some pretty cool stuff, including the L$1 80's Roller Rink pictured here. A Lucky Board at the entrance features a clever Beatles shirt on a 10-minute timer. Some great L$5 shirts are in the shop and everything is reasonably priced (otherwise I couldn't have bought a ton of stuffs, including Hobbes). If you join their group you can get a nifty toy robot pet. From August 14th to August 30th the store will be part of the 2nd Annual Starlust Panty Raid hunt and you can get more info in the store, under the Lucky Board.

Christmas @ Greenies

Greenies (SLurl) is always a blast, but this Christmas they have been extra generous (see previous post) and they continue to give. Go now to grab the presents under the tree! These include clothes, avies, toys, and more! Be sure to look up, too, for ornaments made by visitors, like this one from me! And hit up the kitchen freezer for some ice cream.

A New Item from Ordinal Malaprop

Get him while you can

Burning Life '08 had a ton of great freebies, but my favorite is this Sand Lizard made by MenuBar Memorial and available with many other great freebs in a simple tent (SLurl or http://slurl.com/secondlife/Burning%20Life%20(Deep%20Hole)/36/180/2 if that doesn't work). But since the event is done you don't have a lot of time to grab the goodies! Toys and skins and clothes! Oh! My!

The lizard does more than 'burn' as shown here. He 'emotes' in other ways and has his own Magic 8 Ball.
